The Wetmarket
The Wetmarket - Diploma Project by Andreas PartThe purpose of the project is to blur the edge between the industry and the public and instead expose the whole process of fishing and industry so that the people feel more aware of what the product really is. It is a fishmarket with an emphasis on systems and flows that are effective and innovative for the purpose of exposure/insight for the public. Structure and form interact with features of the building to create the right flow and “transparency” that becomes crucial for the project. The design is working as both structure and form. The process from the catch to the actual consumption is a deeper more interesting experience.

The Third Space
Students from the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, Germany, have created an installation called The Third Space, which is woven from more than a million cable ties.
